The Living Canvas
Organic movement in technical structur
(Alex Frank, Steffen Mueller, 2009-07-10) This unfinished experiment focusses on the qualities of a surface, that is able to change its shape, based on sensing its environment and actuadet by simple robotics. The Canvas, made of paper grid — which, in its primitiv state, apperas absolutely technical, since its made of cubes — is able to distort in incredibly organic movements, since it’s made of paper.
